Everun as eBook reader

As Steve from UMPCportal.com earlier reported, reading ebooks on the Everun works very good. I installed the Mobireader (for Windows), bought an ebook and started reading. The font is large enough to read for long periods without eye strain, and when keeping the device in portrait mode you can read while holding the device in just one hand. Start the GOM player for some nice background music and you can finally enjoy the journey to work.

To be honest, I don't know. I haven't tested that, simply because I use the device on a daily base with a lot of WiFi (wireless on). You need that for internet/email. But it's a good idea to test it.
With Wifi constantly on I can work about 4 hours. Without the Wifi the battery life will extend to the claimed 6 to 7 hours I guess.

I ask you about this because I live in the center of russia, and have WiFi only in my flat :-)
Quotation from UMPCPortal.com about Vega: "I performed one battery life test using a looped Xvid video file. I disabled all enrgy saving, put the screen to max and ran from a full battery to very ungraceful shutdown for 4 hours and 17 minutes!".
If everun can repeat this record it a really good device.
It would be interesting to know, why in datasheet, on raon digital site, S60H model have ~7 hrs of battery life and S6S have only ~6. SSD need more power than HDD? Weird, really weird.
